Biography

Matt into the sport of skeleton after watching the great success that US sliders had at the 2002 Winter Olympics. In 2003 he was accepted into a skeleton driving school in Lake Placid, NY. In just his first season Matt made rapid consistent progress in the regional level and knew that this sport was his. Within five short years he has worked his way up the national and international ranks and now holds the number-four position on the United States Skeleton Team and the number-seventeen ranking in the world.

His proudest achievements are setting the Lake Placid track record, winning the Intercontinental Cup Tour title, and receiving the Randy Price Memorial Award for outstanding sportsmanship.
